Instruction for oral and poster presentations:

The scientific program will include seven Plenary Lectures, as well as 30 State-of-the-art (SOA) Lectures, 21 Symposia, each with six oral presentations.

Information on presentations:

Oral Presentation:

Total time allowed:

Plenary Lecture                                   45 min (40 min presentation + 5 min question)
State-of-the-art (SOA) Lectures      30 min (25 min presentation + 5 min question)
Symposium presentations               20 min (16 min presentation + 4 min question)

A computer + data projector will be available. Speakers are requested to format the presentation in PowerPoint format. AV facility at the hotel will not allow use of personal computers.  Computers provided are PC and will only capable of presentation PowerPoint format.

Important note: Apple keynote format will not be accepted and personal computers will not be allowed.  Please provide presentation file using a flash memory containing your presentation (Power Point format) the day before the session of the presentation to the Conference Desk. For those presenting on Monday June 5th, files can be dropped off at the registration table at the time of registration. There will be computers to check the presentation at the time of submission.  Please name the file as “Your name_S(number of symposia).ppt” (Example Habibi_S1.ppt).

Poster presentation:

There will be two poster sessions:

  • Poster Session-I (Odd poster numbers) on Tuesday June 6, 12:20-14:40 (Lunch will be served during poster session).
  • Poster Session-II (Even poster numbers) on Thursday June 8, 12:20-14:40 (Lunch will be served during poster session).

The presenting authors are expected to be available for discussions during the whole session in which their contributions are presenting.
The posters will be presented on boards of 100 cm (wide) x 120 cm (high) (3.5 ft x 4 ft)). Each poster should display the title, author(s), and affiliations of the work.
